Article 14.
National Directorate of Meteorology and Geophysics
The National Directorate of Meteorology and Geophysics , abbreviated as DNMG , perform the following tasks :
a) Prepare and develop , in collaboration with other departments and public bodies responsible for the preparation and implementation of national information systems and meteorological monitoring ,
climatology and seismology , as well as the national civil protection plan , to be approved superiorly ;
b) Ensure the provision of meteorological information , climatological and seismological autonomous entities to civil aviation and shipping services as well as other public and private entities ;
c) Promote scientific research and participation of Timor -Leste in national and international
d) organizations in the field of meteorology, climatology and geophysics and support for international rules are adopted under domestic law in this area in accordance with the guidelines higher ;
e) Any other duties assigned by law
